In front of the hospital

I am finally getting around to posting pictures. The birth of Joshua wasn't quiet what I thought it would be. I went into work Wed morning after laboring off and on through the night. I noticed that I was leaking a little fluid when I got to work, so I made sure everything was in order and called my doctor to let her know I was concerned. My doctor asked me to go to the hospital to have testing done and she would check on me there. I wasn't looking forward to spending all day in the hospital so I went to lunch with my brother, Tyson and made arrangements with my family to help with the kids just in case I wasn't able to leave.
I arrived at the hospital around 2 or 3 and after two small test, I was told I was leaking a small amount of fluids and that they would be admitting me. I called Eric and let him know what they were prepping a room for me and that he should come over. Around 5 o'clock they broke my water. ( I think I lost 10 lbs just in water loss). Around 5:45 the nurse came in and hooked me up to the machines to monitor the baby. She asked if I would like to sit in the jacuzzi tub to relax because it may be a long night. The water was so relaxing. To relaxing. Five minutes of sitting in the tub, I was in full labor. I never thought I would have a water birth, but I wasn't prepared to get out of the tub at that point. Joshua was born at 6:00 Wed night on May 18th, weighing 10 lbs.

Here are some pictures from Joshua's first few days of life:

The boys just love their little brother!

The boys have been so great with Joshua. They just love the little guy and are always willing to hold him and help take care of him. It is so fun to see the boys loving this little one.
